Forex Investing
Forex is the foreign exchange market where currencies are bought and sold. It began in the 1970’s with the introduction of free exchange rates and floating currencies. Thanks to the internet more and more private investors have been able to get involved, reaping the profits of the currency market through global Forex trading.
This is a market that trades as over $1 trillion (USD) each day- more than any other market. There are some distinct differences in the currency market as compared to the stock market. For example, money moves much faster; thus, no single investor has the ability to actually affect market prices. Also, trades are able to open and close within seconds, which is not possible on the stock market.
Several programs are available for the private investor, some requiring a fair amount of experience, while others are designed specially for beginners. There is even a program that lets you get "paper" experience before you decide to start doing it for real! Other programs are available to help teach you all you need to know to quickly get up to speed- mentor-type programs.
